Ooopss! Zee TV Did it Again. Jinnah’s ideology insulted in SaReGaMaPa 2009

I am feeling shame on writing this that so called Indo-Pak friendship ambassador Zee TV has insulted the ideology of Pakistan. This time Zee TV depicted the subcontinent as a single India called “Akhand Bharat” and celebrated it with Indian patriotic songs. Everywhere in the studios, only Indian flags were shown and a map of the subcontinent was shown where three independent states were shown as one India. Those states include Pakistan, India and Bangladesh. They called it the dream of our ancestors where as this was solely the mythology and week vision of Mr. Gandhi.

For Pakistan, the stage rocked when Pakistani contestant Shujaat Ali Khan sang Pakistani Patriotic song “Tere bina dil na lagay by Faakhir”. He sang it very well and with the national and patriotic enthusiasm. He included the word “Pakistan” everywhere in the song whereas in the original song, it’s not like that. This shows the great patriotism of Shujaat. The Judges, Indian Army members including Audience was shocked to see what exactly is happening.

The stage again rocked when Pakistan ki beti Sara Raza Khan sang the song “Aisa des hai mera”from VeerZaara movie. And at the end of her performance, she said for about a couple of times that “I love my Pakistan and I am missing it” This made senior judges be angry. Sara still backed her patriotism with Pakistan by saying clear cut that she is proud because she is known as Pakistan ki beti. There were many controversial comments from judges.

In all the episode, Aditia Narayan (host) mentioned only the indian freedom fighters and nowhere in the struggle he mentioned Mr. Jinnah. And often he tried to say that we got borders because of Mr. Jinnah.

Previous year, They celebrated Independence Day for both Pakistan and India. And All the credit of the success went to the creative team of the show. However this wasn’t true. Entire credit goes to our proud and patriot Pakistani contestants who refused to sing Indian national songs and Jammed the shooting for at least 6 hours.

I don’t know why Zee TV is creating such dramas in reality shows. Just for large TRPs and popularity, Zee TV is following cheap, shameful and controversial strategies.

    i did’nt think that zee tv could stoop that low well as far as my opinion is concerne i reckon that they r out of there mind nevertheless, Sara Khan (a brilliant and cute pakistani singer) said at the end of her song that “pakistan i love u”.although she sang an indian song ,but this was a great slap on thier on indians playing the drama of akhand india . and talking about justice, since when have they done justice ter pakistan. and the programe is nothing more than a big fat drama. most of all god bless Sara & shujad fer being real pakistani heroes.

    All I can say is that no one atleast in Pakistan would not want to have friendly relationship with India but sadly the Indian government and its media is bent on to tarnish Pakistan and to malign the two nation theory. The fact is that Pakistan is a reality, two nation theory is a reality, Pakistan and India are two DIFFERENT nations which are not and will not merge as one. Having said that, all out efforts should be made for peace on an equal basis. If this is the game Indians are playing, then am afraid our whole country, like me and my family should stop watching indian tv and indian movies and say NO to any indian products.

    oh WOW!!!!!….itne hi patiotic ho tou phir why do you watch an indian show or why do you watch zee TV because obviousely thats what you’re going to get in an Indian show…..they insult pakistan and pakistanis 24 7!!!….if the Pakistanis there that are participating in the show are being so shameless and not giving a Damn about how racist everyone’s being to them then why do you care?

    Dear Proud Pakistanis, what is your identity? Have you ever given it a thought, your forefathers were Indian and to make the matters worse for you over 95% of them Hindus. May be you did give it a thought and that is why you are always out to prove your so called EXISTENCE (we Indian don’t). Even bugs exist, do we care? You listen to Hindi / Indian songs, watch Hindi movies, watch Hindi TV, participate in Indian programs, your top artists have to come to India in order to make it big (Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Adnan Sani and many more) and you call yourself DIFFERENT? And you know what your latest existence is ” a rough country that harbors terrorists” (news channels worldwide are talking about it and US is alreay bombing in side your territories). You should be thankful that inspite of all the wrong doings of Pakistan, Indian are still willing to give them a chance and share their stage with them and compete. This is what is our greatness. Imagine an Indian coming to your country and doing waht your singers did? We are a lot more tolerant that you. We are a way of life and we believe in “live and let live” and that is how we survived last several centuries of Genocide.

    hahhaaaaaaa….lol…..if thats how u “live and LET LIVE” then I’d say…..I agree with some of the things that you said but…..and of course we owe you big time for letting us live…thank you!!!..lolzz..and I don’t find Indians better than any of the other countries that are against pakistanis because you can act nice on a Pakistani’s face but what are you doing behind their back?…..and the main point of all that u wrote up there was that INDIANS are better than pakistanis….but i don’t blame u for that….everyone thinks they’re the best.

    Indian TV Channels are idiots of the highest order.Otherwise they wouldn’t have thought gimmiks like this will change Pakistanis.The other day a moron was commeting that the hosts of Chote Ustad weren’t good looking and asking for replacing them.Thats a true Pakistani.
