Faisal Qureshi is the nephew of famous bureaucrat Salman Farooqui. He’s also the nephew of ex-Steel Mills chairman Mr. Usman Farooqui. Usman was extensively investigated by NAB in the late 90′s, and was accused of gross misconduct and misappropriation. Faisal and his mother were conned by Usman to keep some documents of his in their custody, which were kept in a locker owned by Faisal’s first wife Rubina. In a bid to get kickback from NAB, Rubina and her father, in alliance with NAB, had the locker opened in Faisal’s absence. It was alleged that the documents in the locker were in fact Government certificates worth a few crore Rupees. The government needed Faisal’s witness to complete the cases against Usman. Investigators kept asking the court to take Faisal’s witness to be able to complete the case against Usman. Howerver, Usman, together with Rubina and her family, involved Faisal in this case and kept him busy for quite a while, so he couldn’t give witness against him. Apparently some lawyers and court officials helped Usman in this.
Eventually, after Nawaz Sharif’s fall, the new NAB courts and the judge took notice of this, and Faisal and his mother were relieved from the case. On their witness, Usman Farooqui was sentenced, and served time.

As a result of this, Faisal got a divorce.
Another controversy is that Faisal left Pakistan immediately after the case, and changed his name to Qureshi. This is a gross mistake in his lineage. Faisal’s father’s name is Zakariyya Qureshi, and Faisal has always been “Faisal Qureshi”. Once the legal issue started, he was advised by many to leave the country. However, Faisal’s resolve to stay in Pakistan only got stronger, because he wanted the world to know of his innocence, and also wanted to stay back and fight against the system which actually worked against the law and justice it was supposed to uphold.

Let’s be fair.  if the courts have exonerated FQ, and not by NRO, but proper process, then it is not fair to acuse him needlessly.
If we only destroying our heroes, we will be only left with villens. We need understand that people undo their mistakes by their good deeds. this is what Allah wants. we see faisal has not taken any suport or  done anything political.  he just tells people to wake up n b pakistani.
