Legendary Pakistani film hero Waheed Murad is to be conferred with Sitar-e-Imtiaz on his 27th death aniversary by President Asif Ali Zardari. Waheed Murad was Pakistan’s most charismatic film icon and the film industry never got another hero that could charm the audiences like he did. The award is being conferred posthumously in recognition of his meritorious services and his contribution to the Pakistan Film Industry and promotion of art and culture in the country.
