The blasts happened at very sensitive day and time when people were busy in their religious practices and were in large numbers. These attacks have proven one thing; Terrorists have got no faith or religion! While the incidents are being unfold, I’ll keep posting updates but there are a couple of unsolved mystical questions I want to ask;

• Reportedly, the suicide attackers worn the 10 KG heavy suicide jackets, how the hell they made their way inside the Darbar when there are so called scanners and walk through gates are installed at the entrances?
• Wanderers wearing 10 KG heavy jackets in this hot day kept wandering inside and no one noticed ?
• Reports tell that the security at the Daata Darbar was relevantly weaker then usual! Why was that so? I mean the security should have been tightened in this sensitive day when people are usually large in number!
• The security officials, as usual got away saying that there was enough security and the attacks were not the security lapse, if this is the “enough security” from security officials, then the enough has been FAILED ?
• Why the hell there is huge difference in the security protocols provided to the ministers as compared to the general public?

In the aftermath of todays deadly twin bomb blasts at the Shia pilgrims, the scholars of Jafarria Alliance notably Allama Hasan Zafar Naqvi has blasted the United States of America in strong words stating that these terrorists pretend to be Anti-American and in fact are working on the very own agenda of the US and that very agenda is to destabilize and disintegrate Pakistan.

Allama Naqvi said that there was no chance of sectarian crises because the examplary religious harmony can be seen in the Shia-Sunni community of Pakistan. He said that these attacks are rather an attempt from America to provoke sectarian crises amongst the masses in Pakistan that would ultimately lead to the disaster and bloodshed in every street. Allama further appealed to the Shia community to stay calm and united for the sake of the country’s stability.

The US relations with Pakistan have always been facing the criticism from the general citizens of Pakistan. The hatred and anti-American sentiments in Pakistan are at large once again. People always had the concern and had condemned the drone attacks within our territory, the political relations, and their demands of ‘do more’. Dr. Afia’s case decision added the fuel in the fire and again, today, the reaction of these attacks on Shia community.

In the concluding note, I being a citizen of Pakistan, can see a great .. GREAT.. anti-Americanism among people of Pakistan and I believe this to be a critical phase for Pak-American relations.

It is quite blatant that these explosions are engineered by foreign agents. The influx of illegal aliens in Pakistan has reached uncontrollable magnitude. Karachi alone has more than five lacs of them. It has truly become a cosmopolitan city. Government officials are responsible for much of the holocaust that has been unleashed upon the innocent people. The students at the colleges and universities make a bold display of their weapons and use them without any license. Students of this country are being used by agents. It is the shameful act of these young boys to harm their very own motherland. Trucks loaded with weapons and explosive cover long and strenuous routes and cross all check posts. Nobody bothers what is happening.

In fact, the guardians of the country are busy in looting this country. They are the real wolves in guise of human beings. It is sad that power of money has corrupted the administration into complete subordination and inordinate lust for money has overtaken all norms of civility and decorum.
That is why throughout the length and breadth of the country Kalashnikovs, pistols, rifles, machine guns, rocket launchers and explosives are frequently used. As a result, the entire machinery of police force and military has been alerted to be vigilant about terrorists. This war against terrorism gives country nothing but widows, orphans, crippled and maimed soldiers with wooden legs, mutilated arms, debts and exorbitant taxes. Hunger, disease and famine also follow. Ezra Pound has depicted the ravages of terrorism in a similar way:

“Daring as never before,
Wastage as never before
Young blood and high blood
Fair cheeck and fine bodies……..
Hysterias trench confessions
Laughter out of dead bellies.”

There is no doubt that human nature at the moment is dominated by animal. But still we look forward to the day when the moral law will prevail in the world and men’s passions and instincts will be purged and ennobled by the loftier ideals of the spirits.
