People have expressed various opinions, some associated the attacks to the Taliban, millitants, and Indian involvement while others called it a result of American policies.

For ages, people have been blaming Pakistan to be the responsible of terrorism. In fact we are the one who have suffered the most out of this terrorism, We’ve been targeted and at the end, these are innocent Pakistanis who die unnatural and horrible death. What I believe is that America is worsening the situation by forcing Pak Army to carry out a operation in tribal areas.

I think terrorism has now become the biggest threat for Pakistan, therefor we should remove America’s involvement and put all over efforts to eliminate terrorism.

Unofficial resources discovered that it was Musharraf who tried to sell the country back in July 2008 in the form of an agreement with President Bush. Musharraf allowed America to carry out the assaults inside Pakistan’s boundaries anytime, and even without prior permission of Pakistan.

President Bush secretly approved orders in July that for the first time allow American Special Operations forces to carry out ground assaults inside Pakistan without the prior approval of the Pakistani government, according to senior American officials.

The classified orders signal a watershed for the Bush administration after nearly seven years of trying to work with Pakistan to combat the Taliban and Al Qaeda, and after months of high-level stalemate about how to challenge the militants’ increasingly secure base in Pakistan’s tribal areas.

American officials say that they will notify Pakistan when they conduct limited ground attacks like the Special Operations raid last Wednesday in a Pakistani village near the Afghanistan border, but that they will not ask for its permission.

Pakistan’s top army officer said Wednesday that his forces would not tolerate American incursions like the one that took place last week and that the army would defend the country’s sovereignty “at all costs.”

It is unclear precisely what legal authorities the United States has invoked to conduct even limited ground raids in a friendly country. A second senior American official said that the Pakistani government had privately assented to the general concept of limited ground assaults by Special Operations forces against significant militant targets, but that it did not approve each mission.

Taliban attacked on Pakistan Ordinance factory yesterday. It has been reported that more then 70 innocent people had lost their lives and hundreds are injured. Taliban immediately accepted the responsibility of blasts and demanded to stop the military operation and negotiations. They further threatened to continue the series of blasts in Punjab.

Several retired army generals suggested that the so called “War on Terror” drama should be stopped now and government should negotiate with Talibans in order to stop these dreadful incidents. It was said that government will take action on it and will give hands of negotiations. The first statement of Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gillani was that Government is ready for negotiations.

After about an hour, it was reported that PM received a phone call from President Bush. Officials stated that the call was to congratulate PM to solve the matter of Musharraf. Now just imagine, Musharraf resigned on 18, whereas Bush calls on 21 August to congratulate.

And what next? PM Yousaf Raza Gillani immediately changes his statement that Government will not negotiate and will continue the Operation. Later, the government officials including Sherry Rehman acknowledged that government will continue operation in tribal areas.
