Omar Cheema , Information Secretary PTI , denied the news about ALLIANCE WITH JAMAT-E-ISLAMI . He further said PTI is not making any alliance at this moment and news aired was a propaganda and has no reality. It is a desperate attempt by the status quo parties to distract people. PTI has not formed alliance with any other party.

The so-called Liberal politicians have always tried to depict PTI and Imran Khan as a radical Islamist. PTI and its chief firmly believes in Islamic values. However they are not going to play the religion card as some other parties did. Azzan Breaks, and the presence of Rock Stars and Music at the PTI’s historic 30th October Jalsa at Minar-e-Pakistan Lahore, made it evident, PTI believes in both Islamic values as well as liberal values. And one can easily keep a balance between the both values.

Industrial load shedding causes loss of 400,000 jobs: WB report

ISLAMABAD: Industrial load shedding in Pakistan has resulted in a loss of 400,000 jobs and sector deficit in Pakistan is estimated at about $2 billion a year, compared with $32 billion of investment needs in 2010-20, stated a World Bank (WB) report.

The WB report “More and Better Jobs in South Asia” also contains a special portion on power sector reforms “Options for Reforming the Power Sector in South Asia”, stating that South Asia is characterised by low levels of access, low consumption per capita, and wide demand-supply gaps. LAHORE – After a long quell, terrorists were learned to have sneaked two vehicles filled with explosives into Lahore, reliable sources revealed. After intense attacks in Peshawar, Quetta and Karachi, it seems terrorists have turned their eye on Lahore. Over eight months have passed since the last terrorist attack in the city.

Reportedly, two vehicles packed with explosives have entered the city. The vehicles are reported to be a Corolla XLi-LED 7567 and a Mehran numbered NG-481, with both said to be white in colour. SSP Security Jawwad Qammar talking to Pakistan Today confirmed the threat but in a nonchalant manner. He said the reports’ source was valid but was a “routine lead.” [..]

Christian’s Graveyard in Muslim Population is Not Acceptable! Not Acceptable!

It’s worth mentioning here that Christian bodies are not allowed to be burried in Muslim graveyards, and now they are facing resistance on trying to have their own graveyard! Which roughly means, Christian dead-bodies have no right to burial?

Protesters chanted slogans against US policies and intervention in internal matters of Pakistan. They also demanded the free and fair trial of Raymond Davis in Pakistani courts, release of Dr. Afia Siddiqui, closure of US embassies and bases in Pakistan.

Speakers including General (retired) Hamid Gul, Dr. Fouzia Siddiqui spoke against the current political system and politicians. Speakers from Youths also chanted Islamic slogans demanding “Islamic” system and condemned the democracy calling it the “system of dis-believers”! However in a leaflet distributed by a youth organization Pakistan Youth Alliance, clearly stated that they won’t let the democracy derail and they also stated to the military establishment not to play “politics” in the name of Raymond Davis.

Not just that, after the failed try to escape, a 4 wheal vehicle arrived and tried to rescue Raymond from the mob that started to gather there. The vehicle ran over bursting motorcycles and a rickshaw, thus killing another and injuring several citizens.

Even if we consider Raymond’s plea that he only opened fire in his defense, doctors and the postmortem reports say the otherwise. Doctors say that the bullets were fired from back! Also, what on the earth, an armed foreigner guy who is said to be a consulate was wandering around? Whatever reason there maybe, according to me this was the offense that needs absolute condemnation! No one is above the laws and should be allowed to play with lives of people just like that!

I am sure this will further the ever increasing anti-American sentiments among Pakistanis. The increasing influence of American officials in Pakistani state affairs have always caused an increased anti-American sentiment among Pakistanis. Be it the political influence, drone attacks or alleged presence of “secret” security agencies such as BlackWater!
